When Weight Loss Stops Making Sense
You may be asking:
→ Why am I struggling to lose weight despite eating well and working out?
→ Why is it so hard for women over 40 to lose weight?
→ Are hormones contributing to my weight-loss difficulty?
→ Am I getting the right balance of nutrition and exercise?
→ Why am I so tired and low on energy?
Functional nutrition looks at your diet, energy, stress, sleep, lifestyle, and other individual patterns to help identify what may be contributing to a weight-loss plateau. For women over 40, menopause or hormone-related concerns may be part of the broader context considered in nutrition and lifestyle coaching.
We focus on practical changes that fit you and can become long-term habits.
1-on-1 Functional Nutrition & Weight Loss Coaching
Sorting through conflicting weight-loss advice on your own can make it hard to know what to focus on.
We start with a 90-minute consultation covering your health history, current habits, goals, diet, energy, stress, sleep, and other factors that may be relevant to your progress.
Then we work in manageable stages with nutrition counseling, implementation guidance, support, and accountability. You’ll understand what you’re doing, why it matters, and what to focus on next.
The goal is to help you build better habits you can continue independently and feel more confident about the choices you’re making.
Nutrition and Exercise Should Work Together
Clients often come to Crossroads To Health because they want professional guidance on the right balance of nutrition and exercise.
Personalized fitness training designed for women can help you build muscle, improve strength and fitness, and support your body-composition goals alongside your nutrition work.
With functional nutrition and personal training under one roof, both can be shaped around your goals and progress.
Fitness and nutrition clients can also access InBody 570 body-composition analysis to track markers beyond scale weight, including body fat percentage and muscle mass.
Guidance You Can Understand and Use
I’m Eric Reardon, a Functional Nutritionist and Fitness Trainer. I’ve worked with clients in nutrition and fitness for more than 14 years. My training includes Certified Nutrition Consultant education from Bauman College, ACE Personal Trainer certification, and Functional Medicine training in the Kalish Method.
Before moving into nutrition and fitness practice, I taught and coached in public schools. That background still shapes how I work with clients.
I want you to understand the value behind the changes you’re making. We focus on the areas that matter most and introduce changes in stages, with support and accountability along the way.

Why Clients Come to Crossroads To Health
These clients came to Crossroads To Health looking for guidance after trying to make progress on their own.
I’m honored to be part of that process and to see the changes they make in their health and their lives.
“I began to work with Eric Reardon a few months ago when I realized I had some difficult digestive problems. I was not able to get the help I needed from the conventional medical community. Eric was able to identify my problems and offer immediate solutions in the form of diet changes and added supplements. I noticed dramatic improvement in a short time period. As I worked with Eric, I learned a whole new way of looking at food and nutrition and have now changed radically my eating habits from sugars and carbs to proteins and whole foods. I am much healthier, feel better and have enjoyed an on-going improvement in the problems that caused me to originally seek his help. Eric is a great listener, always interested and spends a lot of time in finding every possible way to help and find just the right solution to each aspect of the problem. He has given me a new way of living.”
Mary M.
“One on one appointments with Eric have brought my weight down by 30 pounds! Not only that, he has helped me maintain the weight loss and continue a healthy lifestyle! Thanks to Eric, I have raised my awareness of eating, exercise and living for optimal health. Eric’s calm demeanor, consistent attention to my needs and expertise helped me acquire a more positive outlook on life and work through what would have been roadblocks to my success in maintaining a healthy body and mind.”
Rosanne B.
“Thank you for the individualized education on nutrition and lifestyle changes to help me feel better and lose weight. Six months ago I was overweight, tired all the time and lacking energy to get through my day. The fatigue was accentuated even more because I could not sleep through the night. Through individual counseling and education I was able to modify my diet and lifestyle, lose weight, sleep better and create a more energized life. Eric was flexible, compassionate and knowledgeable. I am grateful for the ongoing support and education that helped me transform my life.”
